10-year-old killed in Salisbury shooting
SALISBURY, Md. – Police are currently investigating a homicide that claimed the life of a child in Salisbury.
At around 10:30 p.m. Monday, police were called to the 200 block of Clay Street for a report of shots fired. Officers arrived at the scene to find a 10-year-old boy suffering from a gunshot wound.
The child was taken to TidalHealth, where he died as a result of his injuries.
Police say they believe the boy was inside the house with his mother and two other young children at the time of the shooting.
There is no suspect information at this time.
