Bicyclist killed in collision with vehicle
OCEAN CITY, Md. – Ocean City Police are investigating a fatal collision involving a vehicle and an e-bike.
According to police, at 2:06pm Sunday, a bicyclist was traveling South in the bike lanes on St. Louis Ave. The struck by a vehicle turning right on St. Louis Ave. to travel West on 14th street.
The bicyclist, 34-year-old Stephanie Holston, was pronounced dead on the scene following lifesaving efforts from Ocean City EMS personnel.
The Ocean City Traffic Safety Unit is investigating to determine the cause of the accident. Officials say that alcohol was not a factor.
