Berlin to receive $216K for park upgrades

BERLIN, Md. – The town of Berlin is receiving a monetary boost to bring some new additions to the community.

The Maryland Board of Public Works is giving the town $216,000 in funding for new playground equipment at Dr. William Henry Park.

In a statement, Mayor Zack Tyndall said, “The grant of $216,000 will allow us to replace the aging equipment and create a safer place for our children and families to enjoy.”
