West Salisbury Little League wins state title

SALISBURY, Md. – The West Salisbury Little League team getting a heroes welcome Sunday night after defeated Rising Sun, 4-2, in the state championship game.

The Majors team escorted by police and fire trucks on their way home from Waldorf.

Michael Baim was clutch on the hill for West Salisbury, pitching a complete game, then helping his own cause by swatting a home run.

The team will represent the state of Maryland in the majors division Sunday in Bristol, Connecticut, as they take on Delaware in the Little league World Series regional.
