Weekend robbery in Frederica under investigation

FREDERICA, Del. – Police are investigating a weekend burglary in Frederica.

At around 10:45 p.m. Saturday, troopers were called to the area of Sycamore Drive for a reported robbery. It was learned through preliminary investigation that the victim was walking in the area when she was approached by an unknown man on a bicycle. The suspect allegedly demanded money from the victim before stealing the victim’s backpack and fleeing south.

The victim was not injured.

The suspect is described as a man wearing dark colored clothing.
