UPDATE: Identities released in fatal police-involved chase in Talbot Co.
TALBOT CO., Md. – The Independent Investigations Division has identified the decent and involved law enforcement officers in a fatal police-involved crash in Talbot County.
The incident happened on Monday evening just after 7 p.m.
18-year-old Yemaya Wilson of Washington, D.C., was pronounced dead at the hospital following the crash.
The involved Talbot County Sheriff’s Deputies have been identified as Deputy Brittanie DiMichele, a 10-year veteran with a total of 11 years law enforcement experience, assigned to the K-9 Patrol Unit; Deputy William Barnett, a 2-year veteran with 6 years law enforcement experience, assigned to the Patrol Division; Deputy Owen Joseph, with 8-months of service with the Sheriff’s Office, assigned to the Patrol Division. The Easton Police officer involved has been identified as Nicholas Lange, a 3-year veteran assigned to the K-9 Patrol Unit.
