UMES hires new Veterinary School Dean

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – University of Maryland Eastern Shore officials announced the hiring of a new veterinary dean.

The university has been wanting to implement a veterinary program for a while, and they finally have the leader to take it off the ground.

Interim AVP of marketing and external affairs, Bob Harty, said the university is excited to welcome the new dean and see all he’s planning to initiate with the program.

“We have found a permanent dean for the school, Dr. Stanley Robertson. He’s a highly acclaimed veterinarian that has experience literally across the country, [and] he’s coming here from the University of Arizona,” Harty said.
