The FAA is investigating a plane crash that happened in Millville

MILLVILLE Del.-, On Thursday afternoon the Millville Volunteer Fire Company assisted the Roxana Volunteer Fire Company with an aircraft emergency.

Delaware State Police were on the scene as well.

The FAA released a statement about the accident: “A single-engine Bellanca 8G-CBC banner-tow plane crashed near Frankford, Delaware, around 4 p.m. local time on Thursday, July 4.

Only the pilot was on board. The FAA and NTSB will investigate.

The NTSB will be in charge of the investigation and will provide further updates.
