Talbot Co. boat fire ruled accidental

ROYAL OAK, Md. – Maryland State Fire Marshals investigated a boat fire early Thursday morning in Talbot County.

We’re told the fire was reported at around 7 a.m. at 6499 Bellevue Road. Crews were able to control the blaze, involving a 1983 15′ Boston Whaler, in approximately 45 minutes.

Fire marshals say the fire was determined to be accidental in nature, caused by an unspecified electrical event. Total damage has been estimated at $12,000.
