Salisbury officials meet to discuss future of city
SALISBURY, Md. – Salisbury city council members, and the mayor, met Saturday, to discuss the future of the city.
The retreat meeting was facilitated by professors from Salisbury University.
Officials spoke about topics, including housing issues in Salisbury, how to turn the area into a greater regional attraction and strengthening public safety.
Council woman, Michelle Gregory, said the much-needed meeting shed a light on all of the issues that the council and the city mayor see eye-to-eye on, and gave the city an opportunity to formulate action plans.
“We all see the same goals and we all want to see the same things moving forward. I think that that’s very important, and a session like this has been good at highlighting where we need to go as a city,” Gregory said.
