Plans in the works to promote environmental awareness in Worcester Co.

WORCESTER COUNTY, Md. – Go Green OC, a local environmental awareness group, is looking to partner with the Berlin Farmer’s market next year.

The organization wants to assist the farmer’s market in reducing food waste by implementing a composting initiative in 2025.

Founder of Go Green OC, Josh Chamberlain, said this partnership would be a huge step towards a greener future in Worcester County.

“They’re open to transitioning to a more sustainable future, and Berlin is one of the many cities in the area that have come to us and want to replicate our program,” Chamberlain said.
