Officials meet to discuss future of rainbow crosswalk

SALISBURY, Md.- Wednesday, PFLAG officials met with Salisbury Mayor, Randy Taylor, to discuss the future of the crosswalk.

Ideas were exchanged at the meeting and executive director of Salisbury PFLAG, Mark DeLancey, said they made some headway in the plans of the crosswalk, and they’re waiting to hear back from Mayor Taylor, to see what he brings to the table.

“The synopsis of the meeting is, while the crosswalk may still be in jeopardy, he’s going to create a policy and procedure in which he would like to see moving forward with the crosswalk, by middle of August,” DeLancey said.
