Milton man wanted following shooting that left one injured

MILTON, Del. – Police are searching for a man following a shooting in Milton Sunday evening.

Shortly before 8 p.m., troopers were called to Cool Spring Road, near Fisher Road, for a report of a Ford Explorer that crashed into a utility police. It was learned that the driver, a 27-year-old Laurel man, had been shot in the back and was taken to an area hospital with critical injuries.

According to a preliminary investigation, the victim was driving on West Springside Drive when the suspect allegedly fired several rounds at the vehicle, hitting the vehicle. The victim then drove away and hit a utility police a short distance away.

Through investigation, detectives identified the suspect as 24-year-old Timmarus Perry and obtained a warrant for his arrest. Police are asking anyone with information on Perry’s whereabouts to contact Detective M. Venero at 302-752-3812 or Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.
