Megan Outten selected for DNC leadership Position

SALISBURY, Md- A Former Salisbury City Councilwoman has been selected for a delegate leadership position at the Democratic National Committee for Kamala Harris.

Megan Outten will be advocating for Eastern Shore residents and the entire of Maryland at the national democratic convention next month in Chicago.

Outten is an at-large delegate who represents the entire state of Maryland.

She tells us she is excited to take on the position.

Outen says “To be a delegate one I get to represent my own community at the national stage i think that’s phenomenal I never in my life would’ve thought that I would be representing my community in such a manner.”

She also said, “Secondly, this has become a core moment for me and many women across the nation we have waited decades for this opportunity to see ourselves represented at the white house.”

The Democratic National Convention will be held from August 19th through the 22nd.
