Man arrested after allegedly pulling out gun following crash at Delaware State Fair
HARRINGTON, Del. – A Virginia Beach man has been arrested on charges stemming from an incident at the Delaware State Fair Saturday night.
At around 11:45 p.m., troopers were called to a hit-and-run crash in the Cow Parking Lot at the fair. It was reported that the two drivers involved in the crash were arguing, at which point one allegedly pulled out a gun, then fled in a black Honda Pilot. When troopers arrived at the scene, they learned that an unknown man pointed a gun at the victim during the argument about the crash before fleeing.
Troopers subsequently searched the surrounding area, and found the vehicle and suspect, identified as 37-year-old Joseph Kellogg.
Kellogg was charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, aggravated meaning, leaving the scene of a property damage crash, failure to provide information at a collision scene, and careless driving. He was held at SCI on a $55,201 secured bond.
