Good Morning Delmarva discusses summer art classes for kids in Lewes

WMDT – This is for all the art lovers!

The Lewes Public Arts Committe and the Rehoboth Museum are partnering together to bring art classes to children in Delmarva this summer.

Through the program taught by Baltimore artist Paul Daniel they will learn about wind activated sculptures and how to make their own.

Wind Activated Sculptures use the natural elements to create sustainable energy.

We spoke with Heidi Nasstrom Evans, Executive Director of the Rehoboth Beach Museum, and she tells us that these classes are a unique opportunity for only 5 dollars!

The 5 dollars towards a class serves as a donation to the Rehoboth Museum.

They are also offering more than just art classes and are currently working on a moral that reflects that history of Lewes.

Classes are for kids ages 7 to 10 and are held at the George H.P. Smith Memorial Park every Thursday starting at 10AM.

The program will be from June 20th to September 5th.
