Good Morning Delmarva discusses CodaPet’s recent launch in Salisbury

WMDT – A mobile business called CodaPet recently launched in Salisbury!

It’s a way for veterinarians to provide care for animals at the end stages of life.

There’s a growing demand for extra help with caring for our furry friends and they want to bring that care home to you.

This morning Dr. Duncan, a Delmarva veterinarian, stopped by to tell us more about CodaPet and their plan to help the community.

She tells us that Codapet takes care of all of the administrative responsibilities which allow their network of veterinarians to focus on just providing quality care.

Dr. Duncan says that they work exclusively on at home pet euthanasia.

She says it’s important to get to know the pet and family first before going into the appointment and many pets can become very stressed having to travel to appointments.

Dr. Duncan also loves that she gets to lend a helping land to other veterinarians in the Delmarva community that may be overwhelmed with the influx of patients.
