Good Morning Delmarva discusses Chamber Music by the Sea Festival

WMDT – The  Annual Chamber Music by the Sea Festival is a highly anticipated event that will be returning August 4th.

It’s an opportunity to hear from a variety of grammy award winning musicians for an entire week.

This morning, Olivia Momme, Director of the Worcester County Education Foundation, stopped by to tell us more about it.

She says this is their 9th year bringing together a diverse group of musicians for all over the globe.

The goal is to bring more cultural events to the Delmarva community for music lovers to enjoy.

Funds raised will go to support arts programs within schools in the area, but there are free events you can attend as well.

They are also trying something new this year.

Any musicians of all skill levels have a chance to play with these artists during a workshop on August 7th!

Again, the festival runs from August 4th through 10th.
