Four arrested following prostitution investigation in Downtown Dover

DOVER, Del. – Four people have been arrested following an investigation in the Downtown Dover area.

Over the past few months, Dover Police reportedly received several complaints regarding quality-of-life concerns in the downtown area, including prostitution. Police began exploring strategies that will help address the concerns, and on July 10th, Dover Police and the Delaware Department of Justice conducted an operation specifically targeting prostitution in the downtown area.

As a result, four people were arrested and charged.

38-year-old Jerel Custis was charged with patronizing a prostitute within 1,000 feet of a church and third degree conspiracy.

33-year-old Kyree Custis was charged with patronizing a prostitute within 1,000 feet of a church, third degree conspiracy, possession of cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

55-year-old Charles Mosley was charged with patronizing a prostitute within 1,000 feet of a church.

29-year-old Gabriel Zamora-Chapul was charged with patronizing a prostitute within 1,000 feet of a church.

All four were released on their own recognizance pending a future court date.
