Emerging Leader: Kyle Bentley

WMDT – It’s Monday and that means it time to introduce you to a new emerging leader!

Kyle Bentley is the new Head of School at Sussex Academy and recently started his position earlier this month.

This morning, Bentley stopped by Good Morning Delmarva to tell us more about what it’s been like so far and how it felt to be chosen for such an esteemed position.

He says he moved to Delmarva to start his first administration job at Seaford Highschool and since then, has rotated to various institutions.

Kyle says that the years he spent teaching elementary and being able to lead at different secondary schools has really prepared him for this role.

He tells us he wants to continue to help Sussex Academy with their mission to ensure students explore, experience, and excel.

They want to ensure they expand while keeping their sense of community.

Since starting the position, he has been able to meet those he will be working with and learn more about Sussex Academy.

He says he ready to kick of the school year!
