Easton garage destroyed in late-night fire

EASTON, Md. – A late-night fire destroyed a garage and damaged two residences in Easton Monday night.

The fire was reported just after 10 p.m. in the 29000 block of Corbin Parkway. Investigators say the fire was discovered by a passerby, who notified the occupants of the main residence. The main residence and a neighboring residence were damaged as a result of the garage fire.

Fire marshals say the detached garage and contents, which included a motorcycle and miscellaneous tools, are considered to be a total loss.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
