UPDATE: Dover bank robbery under investigation

DOVER, Del. – Dover Police are investigating a bank robbery that happened Tuesday morning.

At around 11:15 a.m., a suspect reportedly walked into the PNC Bank located at 3 Loockerman Plaza and wrote a message on a deposit slip, demanding money from the teller. The suspect handed the message to the teller, and the teller reportedly gave the suspect an unknown amount of cash. The suspect then fled on foot in a westbound direction, taking the note with him.

The suspect is described as approximately 5’10”, wearing a white shirt, dark shorts, dark hat, and a cloth surgical mask. Surveillance footage is not available at this time.
