Deadline to register for Delaware Primary quickly approaching

DELAWARE – The Delaware Department of Elections has announced that the deadline to register to vote in the 2024 Primary Election is quickly approaching.

Voters who are not yet registered to vote in Delaware wishing to vote in the September 10th Primary Election must register by Saturday, August 17th.

Only voters registered with the Democratic or Republican parties are eligible to vote in the Primary Election. The last day to change party affiliation was May 24th.

Citizens may register to vote in Delaware if they are a citizen of the United States, a resident of Delaware, and will be 18 years old on or before the November 5th General Election.
