Crews battle accidental truck fire in Dorchester Co.

RHODESDALE, Md. – A dump truck fire is under investigation in Dorchester County.

The fire broke out just after 10:30 p.m. at 5116 Rhodesdale Eldorado Road. Firefighters were able to quickly control the blaze, which broke out in the dash of a Peterbilt Dump Truck.

Fire Marshals determined that the fire was accidental in nature and caused by an electrical failure. Total damage is estimated at $40,000.
