Cooling Centers opening in Wicomico Co. Tuesday, Wednesday

WICOMICO CO. Md. – The Wicomico County Health Department is opening cooling centers for those in need.

The Flanders Room at the Wicomico County Civic Center will be open as a center from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday in the Arena Lobby. Residents will need to bring their own food, beverages, and medications. Pets are not allowed.

Additionally, the MAC Inc., Senior Center will be open from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday for residents ages 55 and over.
