Christian Shelter is in need of donations
MARYLAND – A community is in crisis according to local organizers, and they are in need of some support. The Christian Shelter located in Salisbury is looking to the community to help those more vulnerable.
Their mission is to minister to the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the community. Anthony Dickerson is the Executive Director. at the Christian Shelter, and says they provide 3 meals a day, housing, job placement, and devotional services. They say food, water, and clothing items will be accepted and very soon they will start a covenant partner program where anyone in the community can donate funds on a monthly basis.
Until then, they just need to keep the shelter running. “Many of you may not know, we don’t receive any government assistance. “We are a private shelter, and from time to time we rely on the community to help us… We’ve been in existence for 43 years, and the community has always supported us in our mission and achieving our goals.”
The shelter says you can go to their website if you wish to donate funds and if you want to bring something, please do because every item counts.
