Cambridge woman arrested on charges stemming from stabbing

CAMBRIDGE, Md. – A Cambridge woman is behind bars following a stabbing last week.

During the early morning hours of June 22nd, officers were called to the 900 block of Maces Lane, arriving at the scene to find a 34-year-old man suffering from a stab wound to his lower abdomen. The victim reportedly became unconscious while waiting for EMS and was taken to TidalHealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury.

Officers determined that the original incident took place in the 400 block of Cedar Street, and contacted 36-year-old Catora Burral, who was identified as the suspect in the stabbing. Burral was subsequently arrested, and police say she confessed to stabbing the victim. She was charged with first and second degree assault, reckless endangerment, and dangerous weapon with intent to injure, and was held without bond.
