Bridge replacement impacting traffic on Route 13 in Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. – With the ongoing replacement of the Route 13 bridge over the Wicomico River in Salisbury, a significant change in the traffic pattern for those headed north through the Main Street intersection is now in effect.

Because the right lane is currently taken up by the project, MDOT has eliminated the option to turn left onto Main Street by northbound traffic. The inside northbound traffic lane has been changed to straight only.

Those traveling north on Route 13 headed to downtown Salisbury should turn left at the Carroll Street intersection or the Broad Street intersection.
