SALISBURY, Md.- A local business is asking for school supply donations for a back-to-school giveaway next month.

Proud Pretty Prints will be hosting Youthnic In The Park on August 24th at Nick Meyer Park in Salisbury.
This is a family-friendly event that will have art, jewelry, food, and so much more.
They are requesting donations of bookbags for all ages, pens, pencils, crayons, folders, notebooks, erasers, hygiene products, and other supplies.
The owner of Proud Pretty Prints Jaybreah Palmer tells us why she decided to host this event.

“One thing I noticed in a lot of events we have is for the community but I feel like its not enough systems in place for it to be for all of the community not just certain sides not just for certain ages so I wanted to host something that could give away to the community and change the narrative,” says Palmer.

To donate you can drop off supplies at 401 Naylor Mill Road in Salisbury the drop-off box is located in the lobby and it will be open 24 hours a day the last day to drop off donations will be August 16th.

Proud Pretty Prints is also accepting monetary donations through their GoFundMe.
