End of Watch: Ride to Remember comes to Wicomico County

MARYLAND – This weekend Corporal Glenn Hilliard is to be honored for the first time during the End of Watch Ride to Remember

This ride started on June 1st in Washington and travels all across the county to every police department that has lost an officer in the line of duty for the year 2022-2023. The ride is expected to be 73 days long and this weekend the ride will come through Wicomico County and stop at the Sheriff’s office, to honor the life and legacy of Cpl. Glenn Hilliard.

His widow Tashica Hilliard is honored this is happening for her husband. “There’s a giant tractor-trailer truck with a billboard on it. and Glenn’s face will be amongst the others you know traveling through all these states being honored It’s so touching.”

Former co-worker and boss, Sheriff Mike Lewis or the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office, says this is a good way to honor the fallen. “It’s heartwarming to know there are still people out there who care about the sacrifices being made by our men and women in uniform every single day.”

This charity event travels over 7,000 miles around the United States between June 1 and August 7 every year and will continue to honor the fallen.
