EASTON, Md – The Plein Air Easton art festival is the largest art painting competition in the United States and is celebrating its 20th anniversary as a project of the Avalon Foundation.

Artists from around the world will be featured at the event, including some from Canada who traveled to Talbot County.

The event started July 12th and goes into July 21st, but there are plenty of competitions for people to still participate in like the quickdraw competition, next-generation exhibit, and the PAE competition.

Avalon Foundation Executive Director Al Bond encourages attendees to take part in their quick draw competition if they have an interest in painting, attendees to take part in their quick draw competition if they like painting.

“In terms of anybody can paint out, 10 dollars, ambition, a set of paints that’s what you need, and we take registrations right up to the starting time at 10-o- clock tomorrow morning,” said Bond.
