You’re invited to the Salisbury Zoo’s 70th Anniversary Gala

SALISBURY, Md. – You’re invited to the Salisbury Zoo’s 70th Anniversary Gala. You are invited to join the zoo-evolution and to see things the public has not seen before.

Some things to look forward to are awesome animal presentations and encounters. It will also consist of a ribbon cutting of our brand new eagle exhibit. There will also be live music, silent auctions, chance auctions, an amazing dinner spread, and so many other things will be unveiled during this event.

We asked Jamie Nichols the development supervisor at the Zoo “Why should people come out to the event”. She stated “We’re getting ready to start a whole zoovolution. We are 70 years old, but we’re getting ready to push the zoo to new heights. We are getting ready to push the zoo to new heights. We are getting ready to push the zoo into the future. We’re gonna be unveiling some secrets that are not public knowledge. To be able to have a different experience, a more intimate experience with our keepers, with the animals is something that the public does not get to see every day.”
