Worcester Youth and Family Services to host annual Shine on the Shore event

BERLIN, Md. – Worcester County Youth and Family Services is hosting its second annual Shine on the Shore event.

The fundraiser helps raise money for the many different programs the organization offers to youth in the Worcester County community.

Communications coordinator, Rachel Mitchell, said these types of events keep them going, so they can continue to uplift the youth.

“It’s a great way to get the word out about the different programs we offer, and a way to keep our systems growing,” Mitchell said. “We’ve been able to continue with our mentor program, which a lot of people don’t realize we have an arm of that.”

The fundraiser will take place Wednesday at Sunset Grill. Online ticket sales will be open until 11:59PM on www.GoWoYo.com.
