SALISBURY, Md. – It’s been nearly two years since Wicomico County Corporal Glenn Hilliard was killed in the line of duty.

On June 12th, the Hilliard family will be holding an event to celebrate his life.

The Hilliard family, in partnership with Operation We Care, will show their thanks to all first responders, including law enforcement, emergency medical services and the State’s Attorney Office.

Glenn’s widow, Tashica Hilliard, said bringing the community together is what her husband was all about, and this event will help honor his legacy.

“I want the same thing to happen on Wednesday night, [to] see our community hand to hand with our first responders,” Hilliard said. “My husband was a big proponent for community involvement.”

The ceremony will take place between 4-6pm next Wednesday, at FOP Lodge 111. It’ll kick off at 814 Albert Street in Salisbury.
