DOVER, Del. – Two teens were arrested on charges stemming from a burglary early Sunday morning.

We’re told police responded to an alarm at Dragon Land Smoke Shop at around 2:30 a.m., arriving to find the front glass of the store broken. It was determined, however, that the suspects were not successful in making entry into the business.

Surveillance footage allowed officers to obtain a description of the three suspects, who were located a short time later. The suspects allegedly ran away from officers, however, two of the suspects were able to be taken into custody. They were identified as a 16-year-old male and 15-year-old male, both of Dover. It was also determined that the 16-year-old was responsible for a burglary at Sky Vape Smoke Shop and a burglary at Cosmic Vape Smoke Shop, both in February, and an attempted burglary at Cosmic Vape Smoke Shop in April.

The 16-year-old was charged with four counts of third degree burglary/attempted burglary, wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony, three counts of theft/attempted theft, four counts of criminal mischief, two counts of second degree conspiracy, and resisting arrest. He was subsequently turned over to his guardian.
