TidalHealth hosting National Cancer Survivors celebration

DELMARVA – TidalHealth is set to host National Cancer Survivors Day celebrations in June across Maryland And Delaware.

Cancer survivors across Delmarva are invited to attend one of TidalHealth’s many celebrations between June 3 and June 5. The events will be held in Seaford, Salisbury and Berlin.

When WMDT asked what the events would entail, Social Work Navigator Meredith Phillips-Woodard said “TidalHealth National Cancer Survivors Day will include refreshments, giveaways, just look at the days and times and the locations. ”

The National Cancer Survivors Day Foundation identifies this special day as a celebration for those who have survived, and also inspiration for those recently diagnosed with cancer to gather support from those around them.
