Serious crash occurred in Fruitland

FRUITLAND, Md. -A serious crash closed part of Route 13 today near Fruitland.

The crash occurred Monday evening near the Royal Farms close to the intersection of Route 13 and Cedar Lane. A car appeared to have hit a tree — footage from witnesses shows the roof of that car ripped off the top of the vehicle. At least one person was injured and we will release more information as we receive it.
