Parts of Cambridge to experience emergency water service interruption

Boil Water Advisory

CAMBRIDGE, Md. – Officials have announced that parts of Cambridge will experience an emergency interruption of water service on Thursday and Friday.

The following areas may be affected:

  • Somerset Avenue: School Street to Hambrooks Boulevard
  • Hambrooks Boulevard: Talbot Avenue to Pinks Pond
  • Hambrooks Boulevard: Glasgow Street to Bellevue Avenue
  • Between Hambrooks Boulevard and Riverside Drive

Residents are urged to make arrangements to prepare, as outages may last up to three hours each day.

When service is restored, you may notice cloudy water as a result of sediment and air in the lines. This can be cleared by running faucets.
