New Recovery Cafe in Del. in need of volunteers

DOVER, Del. – A new addition will be hitting Downtown Dover at the end of July.

The Recovery Cafe is a safe space for those in recovery, that offers different services, from fitness classes to networking nights. To make all of this possible, the cafe needs volunteers who are eager to make in impact on someone’s life.

Co-founder of Network Connect, Cierra Hall-Hipkins, said the organization is on the hunt for people ready to support those who are on their recovery journey.

“We want to be able to bring volunteers in that have that open heart culture, where they’re accepting to all, but also have some history in the recovery landscape of Delaware, and maybe some of their own lived experience in recovery,” Hall-Hipkins said.

If you’re interested in becoming a volunteer, you can call 302-300-1222.
