Merrifield holding a community yard sale in honor of Patoria Giddens

SALISBURY, Md.- Merrifield Apartments is holding a community yard sale this weekend in honor of Patoria Giddens.

Patoria was a tenant at the complex and was reported missing in early May.

She was sadly found deceased in an apartment there late last month.
Those who help run the complex say they wanted to help support Patoria’s family during this difficult time and remember Patoria in a positive way.

Amanda Luffaman a property manager at Merrifield Apartments says “We just felt like it was important to continue to have her story out there. Just because she was found doesn’t mean that it’s over. She deserves justice and we just want her family to know that we’re here to support her in any way that we can.

The proceeds will go to Patoria’s family to assist with her memorial service.

If you can’t attend the yard sale you can show your support by dropping off a donation to the Merrifield Apartment office Friday between 9 am to 5 pm.
