Man arrested for burglary and assault in Ocean Pines

OCEAN PINES, Md. – A Snow Hill man was arrested late last week following a burglary investigation.

A victim met with police on Friday to report that her estranged boyfriend, identified as 38-year-old Richard Lehman Jr., went into her residence during the early morning hours of June 20th and allegedly took a photo of the victim sleeping in her bed. The victim only found out about the incident the following day when she saw it on Lehman’s social media account.

Additionally, Lehman returned to the victim’s residence the following day, reportedly knocking before entering uninvited. The victim told police that Lehman was looking for her new boyfriend and physically assaulted her as she tried to push him from the home.

A warrant was issued for Lehman’s arrest, and he was taken into custody on Sunday. He was held without bond on fourth degree burglary and second degree assault charges.
