Late night fire heavily damages Millsboro home

MILLSBORO, Del. – An investigation is underway following a late-night house fire in Millsboro.
The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company responded to 27229 Indian Meadows Circle just after 11:30 p.m. for a reported fire on the back deck of a home. Crews say they arrived to find heavy fire through the roof, which eventually led to the roof collapsing. Several additional mutual aid companies were called in to assist.
The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the fire. The residents were displaced and are being assisted by the American Red Cross.
