Good Morning Delmarva speaks with TidalHealth about upcoming HealthFest

DELMARVA – This upcoming June 22nd, TidalHealth will be hosting a HealthFest called “Care for Generations”. Officials say it’s an opportunity to learn how to stay healthy and receive services for free.

Kat Rodgers, the lead for HealthFest, visited Good Morning Delmarva to tell us more about this event and how they are helping the community. She says they will be providing information for everyone from young children to the elderly. Rodgers says it’s a great opportunity to speak with professionals such as pharmacists, doctors, and phlebotomists plus there will also be free food available.

Rodgers tells us they are trying to provide services to communities that haven’t participated before. They have changed their location this year and will have interpreters for those that speak Spanish or Haitian-creole. To learn more about this event and TidalHealth, click here.
