Easton man arrested, charged with sexually abusing minor

EASTON, Md. – An Easton man has been arrested following an investigation into the sexual abuse of a minor.

The investigation was a joint effort between the Easton Police Department and the Talbot County Department of Social Service, Child Protective Services. After forensically interviewing a minor child, it was determined that a man, identified as 36-year-old Carlos Perez Aldana, sexually assaulted the child in May of this year. The child was able to get away and notify adults of the incident.

Perez Aldana was arrested earlier this week on a warrant charging him with sex abuse of a minor, fourth degree sex offense, false imprisonment, and four counts of second degree assault.
