Wicomico Co. Public Library in need of donations.

SALISBURY, Md – The Wicomico Public Library is in need of donations from the community.

The pantry and closet have limited items already stored, however, they need donations now more than ever.

The library has an upcoming third Friday event on June 21st, where community support specialist, Cristi Richardson, said community members can drop off all their donated goods. Everything from sleeping bags to tents, and non-perishable foods are welcome for donation.

“With the closing of the cold weather shelter, they don’t have many opportunities to have somewhere to eat. They regularly come in when we open and come over to my food and clothing areas, so it’s nice to provide that service to them,” Richardson said.

If you can’t make it, to the upcoming third Friday event, you can drop by the Paul S. Sarbanes Branch Library during operating hours to donate.
