Crisfield community to come together on the waterfront for a good cause

CRISFIELD, Md. – The city of Crisfield is bringing the community together for a good cause.

The 17th annual Wheels on the Waterfront Cruise in gives car fanatics an opportunity to show off their rides, but the event also acts as a fundraiser.

This year, all proceeds given at the event will be donated to Unstoppable Joy, a local organization the provides hope and healing resources to those battling cancer.

Event co-coordinator, Adam Riggin, said it’s a great opportunity to get community members involved, as well as some of the small businesses.

“It’s really a great opportunity for the Chamber of Commerce to support the local businesses that are right around them, and it also is a way for them to give back to charities that are near and dear to their hearts,” Riggin said.

The free event will kick off on July 27th at 4PM, on the Crisfield Waterfront. There will be a table set up if you’d like to give donations.
