Big Brother Big Sister of the Eastern Shore in need summer mentors

SALISBURY, Md- The Big Brother Big Sisters of the Eastern Shore is looking for mentors.

This unique program provides mentoring for local children facing adversity and for impoverished families seeking resources.

With the arrival of summer, there are many openings, and for only 4 hours a month, a mentor can make a meaningful impact.

Project Lead, Katherine Douglas, said getting involved can make a difference in a child’s life.

“We’re looking for any type of adult that cares about kids, because it takes a village to raise them.” Said Douglas.
