Annual Hoops on the Ave tournament takes over Downtown Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. – The annual Hoops on the Ave basketball challenge took over the Downtown Plaza, Saturday afternoon.

The event draws in teams from all across Maryland, who come in hopes of winning a cash prize.

Executive director of Together Everyone Achieves More, Ariel Adams, was pleased with the turnout of the event, all thanks to the efforts of her team.

“The turnout is great that lets me know that our boots on the ground down here in the community did great marketing [and] they did great educating at letting the people know this is a free event,” Adams said.
