36th Annual Antique & Classic Boat Festival kicks off Father’s Day Weekend
SAINT. MICHAELS, Md – The 36th annual Antique & Classic Boat Festival is back in St. Michaels.
Eventgoer, Rob Schiller, said boating and fishing are for everybody.
“Boating is a good thing; we do a lot of fishing here with our sons and daughters who come out. It’s generational,” said Schiller.
Every year, people from all walks of life come to the showcase. Boat Chair, Alicia Boardman, said this event is for old and young people alike.
“We got an older couple with a fiber vintage glass that comes from Miami and they’re in their 80s,” said Boardman.
Boardman describes St. Michaels as a slice of Heaven that everyone should experience during this Father’s Day weekend.
“Come out and come check out some classic boats. Take some boat rides, do a scavenger run with your kids, you know, enjoy yourself. This is a beautiful weekend, so much to do here,” said Boardman.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
