Trio arrested on drug charges following Milford traffic stop
MILFORD, Del. – A traffic stop Monday afternoon led to three arrests in Milford.
The stop was initiated after an officer ran a check of the suspect vehicle’s registration, revealing that the vehicle had been involved in an active investigation. The vehicle was stopped in the area of Milford Harrington Highway and N. DuPont Boulevard, and contact was made with the driver, 66-year-old Kevin Lewis, and passengers, 42-year-old Wendy Marcelle and 35-year-old Marvin Davis. While interacting with the occupants, the officer reportedly observed drug paraphernalia and subsequently searched the vehicle.
Inside the vehicle, 176 dosages of suspected heroin (approximately 1.2 grams), approximately 5.1 grams of suspected heroin, approximately 5.2 grams of suspected methamphetamine, and several pieces of drug paraphernalia consistent with drug dealing.
All three suspects were taken into custody and charged with multiple felony drug offenses. They were all held on a $48,000 secured bail and a no contact order with each other.
